The new Industrial strategy for Europe is committed to climate neutral countries and green hydrogen is a key priority to decarbonize industry and transport.
In the context of the hydrogen strategy for Europe, the European Alliance for Clean Hydrogen is launched (July 8, 2020), which brings together the production of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen, the demand in industry, the mobility and other sectors, and the transmission and distribution of hydrogen.
The Clean Hydrogen Alliance brings together industry, public authorities and civil society, involves all stakeholders in the hydrogen value chain, will mobilize resources to support the sector and will help the EU consolidate its global leadership in this scope to achieve a fully decarbonized economy by 2050.
